A highlight of this special edition is the moon phase display, adding a poetic complication to the dial. Inside beats the IWC-manufactured calibre 32800 automatic movement, offering an impressive 120-hour power reserve and exceptional reliability. The movement is visible through the transparent sapphire case back, where the oscillating mass in 18-carat 5N gold is shaped like a snake, paying tribute to the Year of the Snake in the Lunar calendar.

A convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures optimal readability, while the black calfskin strap with quick-change system provides comfort and versatility.
