The IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40 revives the bold and iconic design language of Gérald Genta’s Ingenieur SL from the 1970s, combining heritage with modern engineering. This model features a 40 mm case crafted from lightweight and durable titanium, paired with a matching integrated titanium bracelet for a sporty and contemporary look.
The grey dial showcases the distinctive grid pattern associated with the Ingenieur collection and offers excellent legibility with a date display and central seconds. Inside beats the IWC-manufactured calibre 32111 automatic movement, delivering an impressive 120-hour power reserve for long-lasting performance.
For enhanced durability, the watch features a screw-in crown, 10 bar water resistance, and a soft-iron inner case that protects the movement from magnetic fields. The convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures optimal clarity, making the Ingenieur Automatic 40 a perfect blend of engineering, design heritage and modern watchmaking.
